 A safe and secure environment is foundational to effective learning. As a board member, I work to prioritize safety by supporting policies and securing resources that protect our students and staff.  


  • Developing and Reviewing Security Policies: I work with the administration to review and refine security protocols, ensuring they address current challenges and are regularly updated.
  • Allocating Resources for Safety: By prioritizing funding for security infrastructure and professional training, I support a secure school environment that protects our students, teachers, and staff.
  • Supporting Accountability for Safety: I endorse policies that establish clear consequences for behaviors that compromise safety, helping to foster a culture of responsibility.

Promoting Respect and Inclusion

 Creating an environment of respect and inclusivity allows everyone to feel valued. I advocate for initiatives that celebrate diversity and ensure that our schools support positive, respectful interactions among all community members.  


  • Advocating for Inclusive Policies: I support the development of policies that promote respect and inclusivity, creating a welcoming environment for all.
  • Encouraging Diversity and Understanding: By backing initiatives that celebrate diversity and promote cultural competency, I aim to foster understanding and respect within our schools.
  • Supporting Accountability Measures: I endorse programs that hold students accountable for creating abusive or threatening environments, ensuring our schools remain safe and supportive spaces.  I carefully review administrative decisions and look towards consistency in consequences.

  Every student deserves to feel safe from bullying and harassment. As a board member, I am dedicated to establishing clear policies and supporting resources that empower students to stand up against negative behaviors. 


  • Establishing Clear Anti-Bullying Policies: I work with the administration to ensure robust anti-bullying policies are in place and effectively enforced.
  • Promoting Reporting and Support Mechanisms: I advocate for accessible reporting systems and ongoing education that empower students to take a stand against bullying.
  • Upholding Accountability for Behavior: I support programs that help students understand behavioral expectations and reinforce the importance of respect, empathy, and kindness.
